What is the average time to get all the quotes?
It will depend on the number of items and the complexity/specifications of the products. If similar products are already being manufactured in China and raw materials are readily available, the process usually takes within 72 hours. If the products need to be custom-made, then it will take 5-10 days to complete the quotes. To speed up the process, we suggest that you give us all requirements (including specification, product images, drawings, deadlines, target prices, quality expected, ... etc.) and we will try our best to accommodate your schedule.
What are the product guarantees available to us?
Our guarantee on the products is that they must pass quality inspection before shipping. After each mass production, we always do our own quality inspection before delivery. You can of course appoint one of your affiliates, or a third party inspection agency (such as SGS) to ensure issue a quality certificate. This guarantees that the goods are approved by you or someone you trust before it is shipped.
What are the contracting documents that need to be completed to import the products?
Our clients typically initiate the process with an official purchase order, and Cactus Solutions follows with a sales confirmation / pro forma invoice, which can be used to apply for an import permit (if necessary).
Will you sign non-disclosure agreements in addition to standard sales contracts?
Protecting customers' interests is our job! If necessary, we can sign tailor-made confidentiality agreements to protect your investment.
What is the average shipping time?
It depends on destination, route and method of shipping. Usually it takes about 20-30 days by sea freight. If it is urgent, we can rush the goods by air.
What are the usual delivery terms and differences between them?
Usually our customers prefer FOB terms although others prefer CIF/CNF terms. FOB is good for those who are happy with their own existing forwarders or shipping agents who handle their shipments while CIF/CNF is good for those who do not want to concern themselves with logistics or are not happy with their current forwarders/shipping agents but want Cactus Solutions to deliver a "one-stop" solution (i.e. manufacture and deliver the goods right to their doorsteps).
What are the acceptable methods of payment?
We accept T/T, L/C, or a combination of the two in EUR or USD currency.
Do you require downpayment? How much?
Yes, for each confirmed order, we require 30% downpayment before production begins, and the balance 70% before delivery.
What is the minimum volume we have to order?
The minimum volume depends on what products you're purchasing. Generally lower volumes result in higher unit prices due to production inefficiencies. Shipping cost per unit would also increase. In terms of shipping, ordering by FCL (Full Container Load) is the most cost-effective method. However, partial containers, charged by the cubic meter, is also a viable option.
What is the timing to receive an order?
This will depend on the products and the order volume. We can accommodate clients under heavy time pressure by shifting production to less busy production lines.
